Happy Tuesday! I got a comment on one of my emails about my clientless writing post so, it inspired me to share a story of how I grew to $1,800/week with a clientless business.

When people hear the term "clientless business" I think they picture a business with:

No calls or meetings
No freelance gigs
Passive income potential

All this and more is possible.

Here's how I did it plus, the business reveal...

It was affiliate marketing!

Affiliate marketing is the clientless business.

Surprising?

Now, it took me YEARS to master affiliate marketing. I didn't ever really give it a full effort and my total dedication, like I should have.

Once I did, things started taking off and I began making up to $1,800 to $2,000+ per week from it.

Best part? No clients!

What is affiliate marketing?

You refer products to your audience with your affiliate link. When someone clicks and buys using your link, you earn a commission.

You can also do a form of affiliate marketing where they don't have to buy, and you get credit when they take action, like signup with their email, etc.

Example:

For example, you refer Intacart in a blog post you write. If you don't know, Instacart is a grocery delivery service. I signed up with them over Covid and got my groceries delivered occassionally.

For each Instacart subscription that signs up with your affiliate link, you make $10.

In June, you get 20 signups and earn $200 ($10/signup x 20 signups).

That's affiliate marketing!

So, what takes you to $1,800/week with affiliate marketing?

High-ticket!

High-ticket affiliate marketing, that is.

That means, instead of getting $2 to $10 per affiliate commission, you are earning $50 to $1,000 per commission.

Same effort, more income.

How I grew my clientless affiliate marketing income?

First, I pivoted to high-ticket affiliate marketing. I used the same promotion strategies that I always have, that have produced hundreds of conversions for me.

But, I switched the products I was promoting.

You may get fewer conversions but, more income. That was my experience, at least.

So, instead of getting 100 conversions of a $3 commission product ($300), you get 10 conversions of a $400 commission product ($4,000).

Next, I dove into the data and metrics to see what was working and where I needed to improve. I optimized and kept going.

What's great about this clientless business is that you can turn it on and start generating income from it quickly.

It can be passive.

And, you're your own boss, no freelancing required.
